Word On The Street: North Solihull

... Work is already underway and already property investors are queuing up to get a piece of the action. Situated in an ideal location, smack in the middle of green belt, but close to motorways, routes to Birmingham and Coventry as well as the NEC, businesses are beginning to invest in what was once an area of high unemployment, and new schools are being built to combat the area's reputation of poor education. North Solihull campus is already up and running and is proving to be a great success not only with the local population, but with students from all around the West Midlands.

Private estates are being built to close the gap between the borough's North/South divide and even though the scheme is in its relative infancy, the positive changes in this once deprived part of Solihull are already noticeable.

Get in now whilst the prices are still fairly cheap, and before property developers and landlords buy up all the remaining stock. It can only get better, and North Solihull has a future well worth investing in.

... The general level of courtesy is surprisingly high and people are very tolerant and friendly.

Word On The Street: Solihull

It has an excellent range of shops, for a town of its size, and a good selection of bars and restaurants. Housing can be hard to get hold of, and rents can be expensive. But the town is worth it, with excellent motorway links, a railway station to Birmingham and London, and Birmingham airport only 10 minutes away.

Very central to most places eg Birmingham, Leamington Tamworth and Lichfield. There is also a good airport within a half hour drive.
