About the area

Directions

From the Motorway: from M4 take junction 32 and follow signs for Cardiff (A470). 

Continue down A470 through two sets of traffic lights, at third set take a left turn (Tesco garage on the left). 

Continue down Tyn a Parc Road through one set of lights on Ty Wern Road and at the next set of lights, take a left onto Caerphilly Road (Lidl on opposite side of road).

Go over the small bridge and Parklands is on your right at the traffic lights.

 

From Cardiff City Centre: from Cardiff Castle join A470 (North Road) and continue out of the city centre towards the flyover. 

Go over the flyover, staying in the left lane and through the traffic lights, joining the A469.

Continue through five sets of traffic lights and Parklands is on the right at the 6th set of traffic lights.

Shopping
Llanishen has many shops in the area they include Marks and Spencer, Boots, Morrisons, and now Starbucks.  The village has a post office, bank and building society and the nearby City Centre has all of the major shopping outlets.

Leisure
Situated in Cardiff, Parklands is ideally placed to offer a variety of attractions seldom found in one City.  From shopping precincts, museums, nightlife, sports etc to the sophistication and variety found in the newly developed Cardiff Bay.

Education

Parents have a good choice of schools in the area.

Transport
Parklands is situated off the A469 which is one of the main bus routes into the centre of Cardiff.  The M4 Motorway is easily accessible and the Cardiff Wales airport is within 30 minutes drive.

Health

The Heath Hospital is approximately 10 minutes from our Parklands development which has an accident and emergency department (telephone 02920 747747).  The Bupa Private hospital is also near by (telephone 02920 735515).

There are plenty of doctors and dentists within the area, some in Llanishen village which is in walking distance.
