Bridgend is a really good place to live!..

Crime is low, it's not too big, but everything is within reach. And the capital (Cardiff) and shopping capital (Swansea!) are both a 15 minute train ride away.

Now is a good time to buy here, as prices are still at the level of a town, but with new shops opening here all the time (Monsoon opened just last week), I can forsee it becoming a city in this decade.

It also boasts a very good out of town shopping centre with a multiplex cinema.

I love it here! Everything you could ever want to do is either within walking distance, or a quick bus/train ride away!

I moved to the Ogmore Valley 3 years ago and found everything about Bridgend and its valleys great...

The facilities are good, you are near the coast, Bridgend is clean and has everything for everybody. The only thing it could do with is more parking spaces!

An up and coming large town with lots of developments going on...

...great schools, pubs, seaside, countryside in a central location in South Wales.

A very high percentage of great sports people have come from this area along with very many famous actors and singers.

House prices continue to rise and Bridgend is amongst the highest earners' areas in Wales.

Objective One money is creating huge benefits for the people of the area (long overdue).

Bridgend is the place to be, a future so bright, I love it.

Nice area to live, same as anywhere, some good parts, some bad...

Anywhere south from the town centre to the coast is absolutely stunning. Wasted potential in the main seaside resort, Porthcawl. It will probably be nice when the council sort out the regeneration policy (which has been ongoing for 10 years now). Miles & miles of coastline, it could be made into a larger version of Tenby, if money was spent.

Brackla being the largest housing estate in Europe...

...boasts many schools from Welsh to Anglican. There are many facilites and pre-school groups, and also a gym and shopping precinct and it is a 25 minute walk from the town centre.
