About the area
Centurion Walk is in the historic parish of Hucclecote which is split into two by Hucclecote Road, which with little modification is the Roman Ermin Street which was the road between Gloucester and London and was more than likely the Welsh cattle drovers route before that.

Modern Hucclecote parish was formed in April 1967 and incorporated into Tewkesbury Borough Council when that was formed in 1974.
