A quaint area, few High Street shops...

Surrounded by amazing walks, coastal areas and woodland. Restricted career opportunities. Salaries low compared to elsewhere. House prices high. Very difficult to purchase if you are a local. Sadly, too many people have bought affordable local property as second homes.

I have a house in Bideford and it's so nice to see that it remains a working town and not overrun by tourists...

The people still demonstrate a courtesy long gone in many other places. I can't wait to move there on a more permanent basis.

Bideford is a lovely old riverside town with winding streets & lovely views...

It's only a five minute drive from the fantastic sandy beach at Westward Ho! and the lovely fishing village of Appledore. I bought a second home in Appledore 2 years ago with a view to moving there permanently - I hope to be doing so next year & can't wait!!
