I've just moved out of Windlesham and I miss it like hell…
…I miss walking down the street and knowing everyone I pass. I've always felt so safe there and I'm even looking into moving back! Great village and a great place to bring up a family.

I've lived in Windlesham since I was 10 and wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
I've lived elsewhere but always look forward to returning to ol'Shammy Sham.

Windelesham is a lovely area to live in.
... It's nice and quiet and very peaceful. Most of the houses look very modern on the outside and inside. I am proud to say I live in Windlesham.

I think Windlesham is a splendid village it has everything one needs...
Several shops, several public houses, a church, two garden centres, the most expensive house in Britain, a school, a golf club and access to train stations, M3, M4 and M25 motorways and Heathrow Airport.
I have lived in Windlesham since I was a fifteen and I still reside there today, because it has kept me so close.

I own Windlesham Village Pre-school which is situated in the local Club and Theatre...
We are positioned in a lovely area with a secure play garden for the children. We all think that Windlesham is a lovely place to be based, the people are also very friendly - a cosy village atmosphere.

It's a lovely place to live - no 24-hour shops but...
...a delivery Curry House a phone call away, an off licence and plenty of pubs. Some nice walks, not far from London and work but still feels like a retreat. The only thing that is a big problem (having just moved from London to escape other people and their noise) is the traffic.
Despite the 30mph limit, cars thunder through the village - especially on the road from Lightwater to Chobham - and that's a complete (noisy) pain in the ...! If you move to Thorndown Lane forget a lie in between 7 and 9am ... but enjoy the fresh air and the countryside!

Windlesham is a fantastic place to live ....
It has a real community spirit, and the people are all lovely! The surroundings are perfect and the location idyllic.

Some good traffic calming measures...
...would suit a "village" life with children and animals and stop the cut through from M25 to M3!!
