We moved into the area approx two months ago and have never looked back.
We came from Hampton and never thought we would find as good an area or property as the one we moved from.
In fact I have to say, the area is tranquility itself, the property is even better than our previous house and cost us a lot less! All in all you have to go a long, long way to beat Lower Sunbury.

Moved here three years ago and what a great decision ...
... Decided to go for a smaller property in a more expensive area and we made the right choice. Quiet, friendly and idyllic. There are enough shops and pubs to keep you amused, close to Twickenham and Kingston plus we are right on the Thames.
You can walk around the village and the locals are very friendly. The only issue is we will soon need a bigger house and it will be tough to find a 3 bed in our price range.

I Moved to Lower Sunbury from Kilburn 4 years ago but still work in the City ...
What a difference! Good neighbours, friendly shop assistants, good schools & a fantastic environment. Just the place to come home to and relax in the pubs or on the river.

I thought Hertfordshire was great and then I moved to Lower Sunbury ...
... It's great, very friendly with lots to do - restaurants, pubs or just going for a walk. What more could you want?

A lovely place to live, especially in the summer...
...as the river runs alongside the Georgian/Victorian village. The village has everything you need including lovely restaurants and riverside terraced pubs.
A visit to the 'secret' walled garden is a must. Trains to Waterloo are reliable and there's brilliant access to the motorway. Kingston and Richmond shopping towns are a 10 minute drive away. Good schools for children - all in all a recommended place to live!

I have to say that in all the places I've lived over the years...
...Lower Sunbury has been the nicest. Everything you need is within walking distance and the river is just breathtaking during the summer. Ideal for anyone who enjoys the simple things in live and a healthy retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern day life.

Life in the town was a worry...
...with everyone in a mad hurry,
so I left the town
and now I've calmed down
because I'm in Lower Sunbury.

We tumbled on Lower Sunbury by chance...
...when we were looking to purchase a property in Hampton. We couldn't believe how pretty and unspoiled the village is; the church bells of St Mary's ring all the way down the river. We have been living here for 2 years now since moving from Clapham and still love it - wouldn't swap back for the world!!!

I was brought up in Lower Sunbury....
It is a pretty little village with great little pubs on the riverside. At the weekend you can stroll through the park and the Victorian Secret Garden or feed the ducks on the Thames and if you work up town, the rail link will get you into Waterloo in 50 minutes.

I live in Lower Sunbury, it's nice here, very quiet and with friendly neighbours...
If you want to travel to Kingston, Hampton, Teddington etc then the Lower Sunbury Road can get a bit backlogged in the morning - easily overcome with judicious timing or using the A308 instead.
Schools are good here, lots of pubs which are lively especially in summer when people hang out in the gardens overlooking the river.
Lots of walks and green space for Sunday afternoons.
A nice place to live...

Lower Sunbury is lovely...
Its generally very quiet, more like living in a village, and with the river running through it and plenty of open space you could almost think you were in the country. Its is excellent for young families with lot to do locally. I wouldn't live anywhere else!
