A real gem!..
A charming Thameside village with character yet very conveniently positioned for the M25, M3, A316 & only 2.5 miles from 3 main line stations.

Very nice, quiet village, 3 pubs, couple of shops...
Lovely for river walks at Laleham Park. Also watching football or cricket at the Laleham Recreation Ground and Lucan Pavilion.

I now live in Ontario, Canada, after being born and raised in Staines, Middlesex...
Emigrated with a new husband and a new baby in 1965. Still
have family living in and around the area. Manage to get "ome" periodically
and although am now a Canadian Citizen, love my birthplace too.
Just nice to look it all up on the internet and see the old familiar places
and houses. The real estate in England is DOUBLE what it is in Canada.
You also get a lot more for your money here. Still, each to his own.
Nice to chat.

Lots of greenery, but terrible lack of good properties on good plots...
Premium prices paid for housing, but few can afford more than an average house in an average road. Plenty of affluence, which keeps prices high. Needs some really good plots with good houses that aren't cramped in together. If you can ever get planning or find a plot to build on, do so!

Laleham is a quiet village next to the Thames, midway between Staines and Shepperton....
There are many good local pubs, plus a village store, and pleasant park areas for walks or Summer pik-nics.
Connections are excellent for the M25 with the M3 and M4 close by, with Heathrow airport 20 minutes away (door-to-door), Gatwick about 50 minutes. Despite the proximity to the airports, flights overhead are very infrequent.
