... Down the bottom of the lane is another farm. Behind my house are woods and fields. I'm also just a 5 minute walk away from the 207 and 607 buses that run from Shepherd's Bush to Uxbridge. Hayes is the place for me!

... M3, M4, M40, M25, with Central Piccadilly and Met lines just up the road. Plus the 607 Express to Uxbridge or Shepherd's Bush, with a tram link on the way and Australia's just a ten minute bus ride to Heathrow.

Good pubs, clubs, cafes, Indian restaurants with Southall being just up the road. Hayes town is about to be redeveloped around the station, so plenty of work. Why house prices are so cheap I'll never know. The only place I have lived where I meet the local MP on a regular basis who has a passion for the area.

... Hayes has excellent transport links; rail, bus, air and road (including motorways) are all well provided. I work in central London and the bus and rail links are first rate.

I enjoy the cosmopolitan and lively nature of Hayes, there is such a good mix of diversity and cultures. The local facilities are great too, we have a sports stadium; swimming pool, Bowling Green, leisure gardens, theatre and cinema, and libraries, local markets, nature reserves, boating marina, bingo halls and golf are all easily accessible by private or public transport.

I have lived in the Dawley Road area of Hayes for the last six years. It's a FANTASTIC place to live. Excellent connections to anywhere you want to go- central London only 10 minutes by train, Heathrow 10 minutes by bus, Uxbridge just down the road. Brunel University is close by, two shopping centers in Uxbridge, plus a GBP50 million regeneration programme for Hayes!

I think it is a brilliant place to live, open fields, playgrounds, nice people, well served by buses and a bus ride to Central Line, Met and Piccadilly lines and Hayes mainline station.

45 mins from kingston, 25 mins from Windsor. Uxbridge is just 10 mins down the road, and has two shopping centres. I think the Uxbridge road is the only road I know where you can get a solicitor to a chinese take away!

Hayes is very convenient for travelling into London, out of London and for Heathrow and compared to Hounslow, the disruption of air traffic (the noise) is minimal. Hayes town centre has absolutely nothing though and if this would change (better shops, banks, etc.) Hayes would be a great place to live.

...15 minutes from Paddington by train & 10 minutes drive from M4, M40 & M25.
Hayes Town Centre itself isn't much to write home about but there are plans submitted for a £50m regeneration programme.

...- major transport links (airport, motorways, train and tube Stations in Uxbridge, Hounslow, Heathrow, Ealing), shopping centres (Uxbridge, Hounslow, Slough, Ealing), University (Brunel).

Trains to and from London can be as quick as 18mins and also run 24hrs a day.

Properties are reasonable value. The only real downside is some lack of community spirit.
