I moved here with my husband in 2007 and we won't be leaving!...

…Biggin Hill is a fantastic place to live and has lots of history. Everybody is really friendly and the fields are just lovely for walking around.

Biggin Hill is charming...

It has a nice village like atmosphere. The houses are 60's and 70's but are all quite different. Schools are good and people smile around here!!

I have just moved here from London and am really enjoying living here...

It is a true Kent village yet it is only a twenty minute drive into the town centre of busy Croydon so you do get the best of both worlds. I also like the fact that it is a bit isolated and harder to get to by public transport so that it does distance itself from the rest of Bromley.

I love it, I've lived here since I was 11, and I moved out when I was 22...

...but then when my children came along I couldn't wait to move back - what a lovely village to bring children up in.

Biggin Hill is a very individual place to live...

I've lived here all my life, and have been exremely happy, it's beautiful. There may not be a lot to do for youngsters, but that's the countryside for you, it's hardly London!
The fields are gorgeous and it's just one in a million, I love it.

A bit isolated from other Bromley towns but this does give it a feeling of independence...

Also there are not many places which are out in the sticks yet still inside the M25.

Not that much to do socially except visit the good selection of pubs in the surrounding area.

You've got to be prepared for a long journey if you're commuting into London as nearest stations are Hayes (5m), Bromley (7m) and Orpington (7m). Bus services are pretty good though.

House prices are more reasonable because of the travelling although there does seem a vast gulf between the lower and upper range of the market.

Finally plenty of news in the local press re the proposed increased commercial air traffic. Most residents are not on the flight path so the only major worry is the affect of this news on house prices. Other villages who are directly under the flight path (such as Keston) will suffer more because of noise.
