Havant is a fantastic place to live ...
... with plenty to do. The neighbours are great, and I feel that I finally have a new life. Ok so there are areas of Havant that are not so nice as others, but that's true for wherever you live these days.
I moved to Havant 15 months ago to start a new life, and I am loving every second of it.

I have lived in Havant for the last 7 years...
Although it is a fairly big town it has the feel of a village. The people are very community spirited and the shops, restaurants and pubs are superb. I've no intention of moving.

Quaint, old-worldly town...
Almost like a village. A mix of new developments and old, sometimes protected, properties in conservation areas. A mainline station with good connections to London. A really pleasant place to live.

Considering this was one of the largest council estates in Europe, I would say we've pretty much done alright for ourselves...
If you're moving here, check out the parking in your street though, as some of the roads can be quite congested here in the evenings.
Very well served with trains, buses and easy access to the A27 or A3. Health centre, leisure centre, lots of parks, two reasonably sized shopping areas, and three well known superstores on our doorstep.

Well served by mainline rail (Waterloo 70 mins)...
...Gatwick approx 60 mins, Portsmouth/Chichester 12 mins. Adjacent to South Coast motorway infrastructure. Excellent schools and facilities, thriving rugby club. 5/6 supermarkets within 10 mins drive. Havant Town Centre is 15 minutes walk from Langstone harbour.
