Only 45 minutes to London, Liverpool Street, with nice countryside surrounding the town ...
... If you're looking for excitement, trendy living, or nightlife however, find another town. There are decent schools, but not much for the kids to do. I grew up there and I turned out alright, so it's not that bad!

It's fantastic, only 40 minutes to Liverpool Street...
...and far enough out to be peaceful and modern. The Wick has a huge new development and it's great. And it has the best Indian Restaurant ever - The Bekash, worth moving for!!!
