Old Saint Michaels is located close to the heart of the historic market town of Braintree in Essex. Directions
Getting out and about and commuting to work are both easy. Regular services run from Braintree station to London Liverpool St. in just over an hour, and there is a good local bus service. By road, the A131 via the A130 links to the A12 Trunk Road and to the M25 at Junction 28. The new A120 links to Stansted Airport which is 15.7 miles away and the M11 beyond.
From the M11, take junction 8 for Stansted Airport and continue along the A120 Eastbound towards Braintree/Colchester. Turn off at Braintree junction and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit B1256 towards Braintree town centre. At the next roundabout 2nd exit onto the B1256 and then at next roundabout take the 1st exit towards Braintree Town Centre. Continue along London Road until you reach traffic lights and then bear slightly left into Pierrefitte Way. At the end of the road turn left onto Rayne Road and Old Saint Michaels can be found a few hundred yards along on the right hand side. From the A120 Westbound towards Stansted Airport take the Braintree Town Centre junction. At the first roundabout take the third exit and at the second roundabout take the first exit to Braintree Town Centre along London Road. Then follow the directions above
