Leave London on the A13 towards Tilbury/ Barking. Continue along the A13 for approximately 6 miles. At the Lodge Avenue junction branch left, then at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Lodge Avenue. At the mini roundabout continue straight over and Academy Central can be found on your left.

From M25:

Exit the M25 at Junction 29. At the roundabout take the Southend Arterial Road, A127, towards London. Continue along this road taking the right hand lane over the flyover onto Eastern Avenue, A12. At the Moby Dick traffic lights turn left onto Whalebone Lane South, A1112. Follow this road as it merges into Wood Lane, A124. Continue along this road turning left into Lodge Avenue and Academy Central can be found on your right.

Shopping
Vicarage Field, in the heart of Barking town centre, offers well over fifty shops in a modern setting with high street names and local independent stores. In addition to an Asda superstore in Barking, nearby Ilford offers a Sainsburys, plus the popular Exchange Mall, with its impressive foodhall and more than a hundred shops, from M&S to Debenhams.

Leisure
