Wexham is a beautiful parish in Berkshire neighbouring Stoke Poges and Gerrards Cross and is close to the larger town of Slough. The park has many outdoor activities such as orienteering courses, canoeing, boating and a bridle path that surrounds most of the area, which is used for pony trekking.
Black Park extends over 530 acres, and the lake was used for some of the outdoor sequences in Dracula and the James Bond film, Goldfinger.
Opposite Black Park is the historic parkland of Langley Park, which once housed extensive herds of deer.
The park offers magnificent walks throughout its 130 acre land and is known for its beautiful rhododendron and azalea flowers, which bloom throughout the Temple Gardens.
Keeping you connected
Wexham has excellent communication links, with London Paddington approximately 35 minutes away by train from Slough station, and London Marylebone is approximately 26 minutes away from Gerrards Cross station. Uxbridge Tube Station is close by which is the terminus for both the Piccadilly and Metropolitan Line, allowing easy access into central London.
The M4, M40 and M25 motorways are within easy reach, making London accessible by car and for international travel, Heathrow Airport is just over 7 miles away.
