Nice little town with all the required shops...
... like M&S, Virgin Records, Ottakkars Books, WH Smith, BHS etc. Nice little indoor market. Very reasonable town centre parking. Quite a good retail park less than half a mile outside the town.
Crewe Station offers access to London in two hours by train. Manchester and Liverpool Airport are less than an hour away by car.
Some very good schools locally including Haslington Primary School etc. Excellent local college - South Cheshire College.

Moved here to retire, very glad I did...
Good transport links, reasonable shops, reasonably cheap housing, friendly people, Chester is a beautiful city only an hour away.

It is a good place to live...
Good schools, environment, shops will get better, entertainment is improving, and we have great countryside and a good football team.

Still affordable when compared with most areas of the country. Crewe itself is not very interesting but Machester is only 1 hour away, airport 45 minutes, and beautiful countryside pretty much on the doorstep.
