It's a great place to live...
I've lived here for 48 years and its fab. Lots of shops and excellent parks to take the children to - not forgetting night life! Also there are fab beaches: Roker, Seaburn, Seaham and South Shields. They all have shops on the front and restaurants.

Sunderland is great...
Down south you say it's poor up north but you say that because you lot pay loads more money for everything.That doesn't mean you have a better quality of living it just means you for pay more.
Everywhere is pretty much the same, there's good and bad, rich and poor. Sunderland is a decent place to live at a much cheaper price.
