It is great here...
I moved here 2 years ago and every day I like the area more and more. It feels like an oasis of peace.

It is great...
So lovely and green and it has a beautiful park, Golders Hill, that leads into Hampstead Heath as well as a small Child's Hill Park

I was born in Leeside Crescent Golders Green in Nov 1941...
...and lived there till I was 21 years of age....I loved it...still love it and miss it like mad.

Its great living here...
I've grown up here, since my parents moved me when I was 9months old! The people are friendly, it's very pretty, great places to eat, and so accessible to the rest of London!

I moved to Golders Green straight after I graduated and found it an ideal place to live...
Rentals are reasonable (especially if sharing) and properties tend to be large and attractive.
As a graduate it is hard to afford a car in London but living in G.G. there really is no need. The Northern Line has improved dramatically over the last few years and the area is a hub for a multitude of bus routes. There are two night buses that pass through G.G., making it very easy to stagger home in the small hours after a night of excess up town.
Above all its best point is that it feels safe with a friendly atmosphere. On the downside there are only a handful of pubs and these are of variable quality - however, it does give you an incentive to explore!

Used to be a little dull...
...but recently cafe culture has been developing on Golders Green Road, which gives the area a younger and more happening feel. Safe and peaceful, with good transport links.
