I moved to Peterborough with my family from Harrow in Middlesex in 2001...
I found Peterborough very easy to settle into and find your way around, my children go to great schools, there are fantastic shops (all practically on my doorstep...no long painful car journeys anymore!), great play centres for the kids, and super places to take them in the summer.
Peterborough has also changed for the better since we have moved here, there are far more attractions for 'young adults' to keep them interested in the city. I have no regrets about moving to this great place.

I am 16 and have lived in Peterborough all my life I would never consider moving...
There are fantastic schools and libraries. I would recommend Peterborough to anyone with teenagers as there are lots of things to do including ice-skating, football, bowling and youth clubs.

Peterborough is a great place...
The majority of the people in the community are lovely people. We are currently awaiting a bigger centre at Bretton, and our local shopping centre, Queensgate, is a great shopping centre with a wide range of shops which are improving all the time!!
There's lots of entertainment, from bowling to Ice Skating, and if this is not your preference, we have a Ferry Meadows - this is very popular to cycle to in summer for having a day out .... I recommend Peterborough to anyone.
I have lived here all my life and I would never consider moving.
